HAS Architects Ltd. is one of the leading design firms in Turkey. The firm has designed and coordinated the design process of various housing, office, healthcare, education and hospitality projects as well as working extensively on the interior design and construction of a large number of offices and banks. Among these are several prestigious investments that require a high level of expertise such as; Swissôtel Grand Hotel Efes, İzmir, Hyatt Regency Dushanbe, Hotel El Aurassi in Algiers, Anadolu Health Village and Crystal Tower.
HAS Architects Ltd. received the Turkish Chamber of Architects' National Architecture Award in 1990. Anadolu Health Center project was a finalist in ULI European Project Awards. Aegean Hills project achieved the CNBC International Property Awards and Homes Overseas Awards Gold Medal in 2007. The EKOyapı project was selected among the World Architecture Awards first cycle winners by the honorary members of the World Architecture Community as the first project from Turkey. ING Bank IT and Operations Center project received 2012-2014 “Gold Beam Award” of the Turkish Precast Concrete Association. In 2014, Crystal Tower was listed as the 7th best skyscraper in the world by Emporis, and later received the Chicago Athenaeum International Architecture Award in 2016.
HAS Architects Ltd. has formed associations with Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, Inc. (SOM) in 1993, with REES Associates, Inc. in 1999, with NBBJ in 2003, with Pei Cobb Freed & Partners in 2006, with Llewelyn Davies Yeang in 2007, and with RMJM in 2009.
Recently, HAS completed the design of the 168 meter-tall Crystal Tower in Istanbul (in collaboration with PCF), a 120-bed hospital in Basra and Anadolu Health Sciences University in Gebze as well as Bogazici University Kandilli Science and Technology Complex, ING Bank Kahramanmaras IT & Operations Building, two oncology hospitals in Algeria and Al Bidda Park Celebration Pavilion in Doha, Qatar.
Among current projects are two residential buildings in Berlin.
HAS Architects Ltd. is a licensed BREEAM assessor, the first design firm in Turkey. The team also includes the first and only EDAC (Evidence Based Design) Accredited Individuals in Turkey.
