This mosque, designed for the Chamber of Industry in Eskisehir, is part of the organized industrial zone and as such has been designed utilizing the latest technology reflecting the spirit of this zone. The square planned 1000-people main gathering space has 30 m. span in both directions, with the support of the slanted prefabricated beams that meet at the peak. Supported by the beams are light, insulated sandwich panels which are wooden covered on the interior and copper covered on the exterior. The carpet covered floor of the main praying space rises at the edges of the hall, meeting with the glass facade, and integrating with the grass lawn outside.
