The 36.414 m² housing project on a land of 24.277 m², is designed for an invitational competition. On a total of 6 blocks, 208 apartments are laid out as 4 apartments on each floor. This concept allows to open up more green space on an otherwise rather dense building program. Making use of the sloping site, the social facilities and the garage are placed below grade, introducing even more green area.
Each apartment is designed as an independent and discreet unit. The core and common spaces at the blocks are transparent to both the front and backside gardens. Double height voids and cantilevers at the core area form vast atriums and fluid spaces.
