The bank building in this very dense district on the Asian side of Istanbul has 2 basements and 6 floors. The one way traffic on the main street and the location of the site just on the corner of two busy streets required an interesting and sculptural facade. Moreover, as to the architectural language, the facade of the neighboring historical landmark wooden house was the inspiration for the bank facade where a glass curtain wall repeats similar form.
