The reconstructed building constitutes half of a twin house which was designated as a building worthy of preservation by the authorities. During the construction the remains of e old house were removed and reconstructed in reinforced concrete. The new design was loyal to the layout and ornamentation on the old facade when it was covered with wood boards. The combination of the unchangeable elements of the facade and the modem functional needs on the plan produced a dynamic interior atmosphere with various levels of floors.
